A tough class but if you put in the time and effort you can pass. This is not one of those classes that you can wait until the night before to study for an exam and expect to get a good grade. If you miss even 1 class you will get behind. Don't rely on the review sheets for each chapter as study guides, just study the chapter notes for exams.

Very tough to pass, she worded the exams very badly which made them difficult to understand and to do well on. Was very rude to several students and wasn't hesitant to tell them how awful they were doing, even after the very first test.

You will print hundreds of pages for this course. Does not enjoy answering questions, very snippy. Emphasizes likelyhood of student failures as if this is something to be proud of and expects students to devote 8+ hrs a week outside of class to this course alone. Tests are extremely difficult and tricky, not straightforward.

great lab instructor for BIO 113 - gives you lots of help. Review questions for the quizzes and exams. Gives extra credit for completing review sheets. Knows her stuff. Take her for BIO 113.

Dr. Frisbie is one of the best teachers I have ever had. She is very passionate about the subject matter and truly cares about her students. As long as you put the effort in, ask her questions you may have, do the reviews, and take the time to study you will be rewarded in this class. It is very difficult but very interesting! She is wonderful!

She has been the best professor I have had by far. She teaches in a way that makes you understand the material. She makes her own lecture outlines that you buy at the Kennedy Bookstore. I definitely recommend this professor for BIO 139.

she is tough in grading and she want you to know everything she does and the class was just like an army training filed that you canot have time to catch up breath, if you study hard you well be rewarded, she is very helpful if you seek help from her she give you all here time. great teacher for serious students.

She is terrible!!! She expects too much. She doesn't explain anything. She always is leaving the class while we work on labs to go do something. There are quizzes every week. You get no points for the lab or the lab sheet you have to fill out. Your grade is mainly based on those stupid quizzes and your midterm and final. No room for mess ups.

Professor Frisbee is very passionate about her students. She will only help you if you demonstrate the determination to do better. All in all, her class was the hardest but the most fun I've had. She was(still is) the best.

Ugh. The class wasn't even that difficult. Her personality was just terrible. When she even bothered to show up. Told us repeatedly that the dissection lab was the most important lab of the semester and we could not miss it-- she didn't come.

Molly is a great lecturer and very personable. You will learn a lot in her class because she expects a lot from you; quizzes, homework, tests, and worksheets. She is very demanding so be ready to grind. If your career path is Nursing, taking her will additionally prepare you.

BIO 139 is a tough class, Dr. Frisbee is the best to teach this subject. She knows what she's talking about and is willing to help anyone struggling in the class. Although she is a fantastic teacher, you NEED to study for this course. This course requires a lot of your time and effort if you want to get an A, but if you love anatomy, you'll love it

did not enjoy this class. Puts more information in it then you need to know. Way to tough on grading, thier is no liniency with this teacher. Her averages during the regular semester are low 70's.
