Mr. Carvell gives hard tests but he gives alot of extra credit if you are willing to put out the extra effort which I found most people aren't. GO TO CLASS!! Current Event quizes are given daily. Mr. Carvell is a good man and he DOES care about his students.

He really needs to retire. He doesn't have a clue about assisting students. He takes too much pride in what he "thinks" he knows. He can't instruct a student,and certainly can't hear them. Thumbs down 2xs. If you get him, switch him!!

Mr. Carvell was up-front & honest from the first day of class & he told us what he expected & how he wanted things done. And in a field that has a high "ego" rating, he began the first day of class by saying, "I want you all to understand that from this point on, don't take anything I say personal." I have always respected him for saying that.

Be sure you don't call him Dr. because he's not one but he loves to be called that. He makes no effort to help students and loves to hear himself ramble. Electronic media management is the only class he teaches and he doesn't even try to learn names. He does not care one little bit about students.

Nice guy, but not really the best/clearest teacher. I have no interest in Radio/TV but took this class for an "easy A"...not so easy. Make sure to read the chapters, you have to. And on current events quizzes, leave the ones you don't know blank, and fill them in as you go over it as a class. Boring
