Professor Morton is one of the best teachers I have had at FSU. His tests are very straight forward and his lecture outlines are exaclty what is on the test. I would definetly take another class with him.

Comment:

Morton is the best professor in the ACG Dept. He gives you an outline for every chapter & he tests exactly what he covers in class. He only uses the bk for HW problems & you don't necessarily need to read the book to understand the material. Attendance isn't mandatory but you must go to class in order to complete the outlines. TAKE MORTON!!!

He is my favorite accounting professor. He is very thorough and makes sure you understand the material. If you ever need help, just go to his office hours! He's very understanding and will make accounting bearable.

Morton is hands down the best accounting professor you could ever have. Extremely helpful, extremely intelligent; this man really wants his students to succeed and it clearly shows. Would recommend him to anyone! Class is not easy (what accounting class is?) But he really makes sure to do his part and explain the material as clear as possible.

Awesome Far Teacher. Really nice guy, emails you back right away. But it is tough material. Need to Go to Class but not mandatory- NEED HIS OUTLINES!!! follow them, do all the problems. He is really helpful.

Dr. Morton is an excellent teacher. The material is extremely tough, and you really have to devote yourself to studying the material. Do lots of problems for practice. He's a great guy who wants his students to succeed. He always has time to answer questions after class and will always make time for you in his office. I absolutely recommend him!

Study the in class notes and the problems in them. 80% of the tests are from these. The other 20% come from the book exercises, not problems. So study the notes the most, the do the book exercises and that is all you'll need. Don't waste time toiling with the book problems. He gave us an extra credit assignment worth 4 points toward a test grad

Real nice guy and a really good teacher BUT his tests are extremely difficult. If you want an A, don't take him. If you want to thoroughly know the subject for the CPA, he's great. He would be the perfect professor if he didn't test so tough and his tests are the only grade component.

He was the only professor teaching Far 2 last semester, and I'm glad. The material is pretty difficult, but he balances tests to make them equal difficulty and is always available for help through e-mail, and his open office.

He is the best teacher I have had at FSU. Took him for both FAR 1 and FAR 2 and got As. You should go to class but to get the notes or just copy from a friend. Study the notes along with a few problems and you will do well. Going to class will be extremely helpful and you do actually learn. Doesnt get better than Dr. Morton

Great teacher- hard class but he tries to split up hard material so the tests are even as far as difficulty. You have to go to class and study but he is tries to make it as clear as possible- i would take another class with him if he taught one!!

Tests are problems and concepts. concepts are hard though and he'll give partial credit on problems. does assignments and quizzes to help out your grade. you have to go to class and do the assigned exercises and then youll be fine! hes good
