I used to dislike her because I would blame my failing grades on her. It's not her that's tough it's just the subject itself. she even gives very clear notes tho and extra practice sheets. my homework grade is what boosted up my average the most. She also sometimes gives online quizzes which you can ask your friends for help and go online. shes nice

Calc is hard but Prof K goes over a lot of examples in class and her tests are almost exactly like the practice problems so make sure you do them before the test. She drops your a few quizzes and your lowest test if your final is higher. She also give extra credit and is fair when grading tests. She's a sweet lady. Definitely take her!!

Professor K is an amazing professor. She gives you a lot of opportunities to boost your grade and she wants everyone pass with an A. You need to put effort as well to pass. Make sure you do your online homework and TEXTBOOK H.W! It will help you study for her test. She gives you 3 test and lets you take a OPTIONAL FINAL to drop a low test grade.

A good person that turns into a disaster of a teacher. She's a sweet person, but her classes are HORRIBLE!! It's a waste of time setting in class, because she's so confused about what she teaches. She makes you buy a "MyMathLab" code (110$), and that's the only place you are going to learn. taking her courses is like doing the same course online.

Over complicates the material. I guess she better than the other options available in Nassau community college. take her just if you don't fined someone better. most of the studying is done online through "mymathlab" so be ready to spend 110$ on a code. the class is not a lot better than an online course.

AMAZING professor ever! Statistics was hard as heck but she was very clear in her teaching and was available for office hours. Very sweet and willing to help but real, do the work (lots of review and practice) you'll do just fine. There's tons of tools for you to pass and she sure helped me pass! Study hard and succeed!!!!!!!!

I barely made it out of this class, but it was a lack of discipline on my part, and not any fault of my professors. She was very kind and was always available for extra help. The course is challenging. Half of my class had dropped before the final. You cant take this lightly, be prepared to put in the work outside of class to get a good grade.

Comment:

She is the SWEETEST, nicest professor at NCC. She's always willing to help. 3 exams, optional cumulative final. HW is on MyStatLab as well as 6 quizzes (she only gave us 4) and she drops the lowest quiz and HW grades. Easy HW & quizzes if you pay attention in class and know which functions to use on the calc. Last 2 exams are tough. TAKE HER! :)

You have to work really hard to not do well in Professor Kreinbihl's class. She gives you every chance to do well including bringing an index card with notes and forumlas to each test. She also drops your lowest test grade and doesn't force you to take the final if you're happy with your average thus far. Very easy class.

Prof. K's intention is for all the students in her class to pass. She's very organized and explains all the material thoroughly. Her tests are easy and she lets you bring an index card with information and formulas you need to know on it. The cumulative final is optional. All together she's a super nice lady and a great professor.

Great teacher, but the quizzes suck ! I failed all of them. Test are easier than quizzes oddly. Homework is online and is very easy. Very particular when grading . Make sure you specify your answers to the minute details because she will take off points. Never used the textbook, but you need the online pass to do your homework.

Definitely sparked my interest in math. Pay attention, ask questions, and take notes, because you *will* have to do the work, in order to pass. Gives out both online (graded) and offline (not graded) homework, with 5-7 quizzes (drops 2-3), and roughly 4-5 tests (final replaces lowest). Offers plenty of help. The Math Center will be your new home.

Best math teacher I have ever had. She taught the subject so well, and helped us out whenever we need it. Tests are an easy easy A, her quizzes are relatively hard and about half the students fail them. She drops 2 at the end of the semester though, and her home works online are easy. Grading policy is 80% tests, 10% homework, 10% quizzes

I recommend you not to take this professor. She is a very nice woman but her class are so confusing. In her tests you will see problems that she never teach you. She gives alot of hws that you have to do it online. I spent hours doing hws and also attending to her class, it was like if i was taking both an online and campus. You re on ur own w/hws
