Comment:

Hes a good speaker and tries to make the class interesting. No homework at all, which was really nice. A few extra credit opportunities which can bring your grade up. Tests consisted of random questions from the material and if you had read most of it you'd be fine. Easy class if you keep up with the reading. A breeze compared to chemstry and calc.

He is a really nice guy. He tries his best to engage the students in the discussion even though it is such a huge lecture hall. His tests were kind of outrageous. The multiple choice questions were really random and some of the questions neither appeared in the book nor in his lecture. He curves the grades though.

Although people joke that com101 is an easy class, Brusselle has a talent for making the most difficult multiple choice exams I have ever seen. Be sure to study even the little things.

His liberal, radical ideals are brainwash. Don't take his class. He provides pure opinion without support instead of teaching. Ex: Rants against Ronald Reagan, rants against Fox News, saying the War On Terror was not justified. He is sickeningly biased.

He is not a bad guy, but his lectures are super boring. Does post pp slides online at least, but his tests were the worst part. They were full of errors and lots of questions with ambigious wording and answers. He did curve the whole class big time at the end, and there were a few extra credit oppurtunities.

Probably the worst class I had all year. I felt that each day i was re-taught things I already knew and the only thing I learned is that George Bush or anyone who has ever swayed Republican is a Nazi.

His class is interesting enough, and definitely on the easy side. You don't have to actually attend lectures because he posts the notes online and couldn't take attendance if he wanted to. Just make sure you know when your tests are and get your research activities done and you're golden.

Good class. Not to difficult, just read the book occasionally and you'll do fine. Busselle is a good teacher, he is an talented speaker who makes the class interesting. No hw really, just exams. Good teacher overall.

Busselle is a pretty good professor. His class is easy, just show up take some notes and read the book. Almost all his test questions are straight out of the book. You can easily miss a few classes and be fine, just go to lab. Lecture can get boring but sometimes has interesting topics.

SO easy. honestly, went to class just to take the tests. your lab section helps you SO much. I didn't read the book and never went to class and still got a B. He curves the grades a lot.

(Isn't it funny how kids are advising you to read the book?) Busselle is a good prof, kids made the mistake of underestimating how difficult this class (and college in general?) really is and rated him harshly. Just attend, read, study, work, and learn, and you shall get an A - 'nuff said.

the exams are REALLY annoying!!...all of the questions are multiple choice but the answers seem like they all could be the right answer so you mostly end up guessing which is right...READ THE BOOK because most of his questions come from there....i got Cs on all the exams but still came out with a B+ in the class so not too bad...this class was ok

Go to lecture, but most importantly- READ THE BOOK. I went to most lectures and read notes online, but most of the questions related to the book. Go to discussion- 1 question from every quiz is on the test. He's a pretty interesting guy to listen to. Most people walked out with A's. Reading is interesting so if you can manage it- take this class!

Not an awesome class, not a bad class. It's an OK class. You can hear him swallowing his coffee every 5 minutes. He makes weird points that don't even relate to what he's talking about. Gets pissed if you leave class early. Swears in the mic. Kind of a funny teacher, good memories, but eh. Whatev class.

Class was super easy. Notes are placed on the web and so are the study sheets. Class attendance isnt needed, and the tests are 3 scantrons. Super easy!
