Meh -He's the best teacher this school has to offer, and that isn't saying much. The below average students in this school love him because they don't know what teacher is like. I will give him credit though - at least he tries to teach - more than I can say than the other chumps teaching here.

I had his class last year. This guy is a real teacher,not a talker like some A-Holes. This guy has teaching down to a science as well as an art. He always incorperated a nice mix of hands on and book work. Some people write crap thats not true. Go.to.class.everyday, be nice, do the work, and its all good!. He is the best"Real Teacher" at Tri-State.

Mr.Rob Karney is a very competent instructor. He is very fair and will go out of his way to help you. All you have to do, is show effort. you dont get a free ride, but your workload is also fair, this is higher education. He wants you to gain something before you leave his class, isnt that what your paying for? Put forth effort = great class. A+MrK

I think Mr. Karney is a very good teacher. He was helpful and made the classes interesting.The one thing that stands out is he was interested in your paper or project,he pushed you to do your best, that is what makes a good teacher. Mr. Karney is one of those good teachers.

Mr. Karney is a very knowledgeable instructor! I found it easy to relate to Mr. Karney as an instructor and mentor! The class was interesting and kept everyone motivated. Class time was given for all projects which was very much appreciated! I would indeed recommend Mr. Karney for instruction and I do hope Ihave him in the future.

Has an attitude that he is superior to everyone else. Acts like he teaches at an Ivy league institution when all he teaches are general Education classes at a trade school. He can capture a student's interest, but loses it with his superior attitude and cockiness. When I am in one of his classes, I feel like I'm back in grade school.

Karney does an awesome job making dull subject matters worth listening to. Who else can be told he has to include team work in the lession and come out with instructions to build a hovercraft? If awesome. Think she should be teaching grade school.. Try evaluating the differance between teaching grade school, and classes at TriState. You may be surprised to find that his 7 year old son is more intelligent then you.
