Not very good at teaching math and his speech impediment is very hard to listen to at first. If I hadnt come in with all the math knowledge already, I would have struggled more in the class. Not a hard class but kind of excruciating to get through.

Dr. Ramey is a wonderful professor. As some have said, you have to get past his speech impediment. But otherwise, he is great. I will have had him for 5 semesters total by the time I graduate. If you tell him you don't understand something, he will stop and revisit the idea. At first it is kind of difficult to understand him, but I got used to it.

Had him for College Algebra. He was extremely hard. Had homework every day and very little tests so it made it hard to get a good grade in there. Makes you do journal entries via email every week but never replies back. Doesn't really explain things well. He's also very boring. Would not recommend him. (Also I'm a straight A student normally)

He gives a lot of assignments and doesn't take most of them for a grade, which I'm not a terribly huge fan of. It does help with understanding the material though. He goes over just about every question you may have in class. I like him quite a bit, he's a good professor!

Excellent professor! He cares greatly for his students, but is not very flexible with the course rules. If you run into him outside of class he will talk to you. He uses several strategies in class which help you to fully grasp the concepts. Will have you answer questions and write problems on the board. Always free to help outside of class.

This guy is okay. Once you become accustomed to his speech impediment, you'll learn more. Tests were fair. You must not skip class, and you must do your homework. He cares about his students, but he often talks to you in 3rd person. A lonely man... a kinda' felt bad for him.
