Alright I took this class a year ago and I'm still mad. The homework has nothing to do with the exams, the lectures have nothing to do with the exams, basically nothing has to do with the exams. The only reason I got by is because I read the textbook online. Absolutely dreadful 0/10

Not a good prof, he gives out too much hw that doesn't related to the exam and he never went over the grades after the midterm the practice midterm was not helpful at all and his exam are somewhat difficult most of his exam are online just google it do not recommended him you will not learn anything his lecture are not helpful

DOES NOT RESPOND TO EMAILS very often. Gave homework on the first day of school when everyone was still trying to get into the dang class. Did not give me a chance to make that homework up!

The Key for this class is pretty much keeping up with the grading scale The class has an absolute grading scale; so there is no curve, it does not matter if your class fails a midterm and you get a B, you still get a B HW are easy points, we never used it again on tests so dont study it, just look up answers clickers are partic, and quizzes

Prof Clare is ridiculous. He does not go over the grading system in classes after any test. He barely touches the material that is actually covered on the test. Trust me. If you can avoid this class, do so. You'll be taught for example how to add in class, whereas on the test, there will be integrals. Yeah, the material is that drastic. Avoid!

Straight forward prof. Easy B. Put effort u might get A. Key: Get perfect scores on homework, his clickers are freebies cos they're based on participation. His tests are tricky, study well. Google questions from his sample midterms & finals, You'll find countless midterms and finals from other colleges w similar questions. Practice with those.

This was a horrible class. Not only was it hard but he was probably the rudest professor I have ever had. Lectures were a joke. Nothing on the homework or tests were covered in class. If you don't continuously check for online homework he might add it very last minute. He is the reason I will not be taking physics next quarter. AVOID AVOID!!

Clare strives to be a good teacher and it shows. He's clear in lecture and funny, but he assigns homework every two days (plus an additional prelecture assignment on Sundays) from MasteringPhysics. Tests are difficult but he gives you samples to practice with, however he does not provide solutions. Clicker questions are where you get your points.

Professor Clare is not an easy professor. He gives no examples in class and expects you to just figure things out on your own. His tests are hard and he doesn't have that great of a curve as expected for a physics class. Expect to be doing four assignments a week and read your book as if it is the Bible.

Professor Clare is one of the best Physics instructors I have ever had! He's amazing! He tests directly from the book, which to some isn't good, but he does demos in the front of class to solidify the learning. He uses clickers, which can be used as extra credit. Very generous curve, 80 for an A, 65 for B, 45/50 for a C. Get him if you can!! :)

Clickers. Pretty fair professor. He tests by book bank, so it is stuff you've seen before. Just know how to do hw problems, and you should be good. I suggest office hours or cramster.com for that.

Class is mandatory because of clickers and some of the questions on the midterm and finals come from clickers so it'll be smart to go to class. His curve is low compared to the other classes and he doesn't give out extra credit, but he is an amazing lecturer and you will learn something, i guarantee it (that is if you really pay attention)

lectures are boring but his demos were entertaining. the curve was nice, and our average of the class was like a C or B. Most of my friends had C's going into the final so it wasn't that bad.
