Deasy is easily the best history professor I ever had, he knows so much and is willing to tell you everything he knows. Gives good notes, no textbook. Take him for 20th century, he lived through all of it!

Clas of '67 at Our Lady of the Hoop. One of the top two or three teachers I've ever had. Stand-up-comic style made attendance a must. One saying of his I remember: "How bad is that?!"

Deasy is a fair guy he gives you 80% of the exam questions, word-for-word, before you take the exams he also answers more than half of them for you. All the answers for the questions on the exam come from the notes so don't miss class. Deasy is hilarious and keeps your attention with jokes and by comically & friendly disrespecting students.

Best Professor at PC. Anyone with any interest in History must take his class. Very straightforward and the test answers come straight from his note. When I don't miss an 8:30 class once in a whole year he must be good.

Awesome teacher!!!Will help if you need it.Starts off each day with facts about the date( which takes up 1/2 the class) Plenty of bonus pts. Slow but in depth. we started at 1900....ended at 1924. I Was in his class on 9/11/01 and watched the 2nd plane hit WTC.

super funny and wicked easy class- just study your notes and read the chapters he tells you. term paper easy too- pick a person and read a book and 2 articles on them and analyze the books. highly recommended

Deasy's great - funny, knows just about everything about US history, and a really nice person, very approachable. The tests can be specific but there are 4 of them so there's not that much covered on each. Only downside: some stuff that he doesn't talk about has a way of showing up on the final.
