Great professor, actually wants his students to gain knowledge. No hw, is a fair grader & very understanding. People complain that he's test-heavy, all you have to do is dedicate the time to study. tests are right out of the power points & he gives a study guide. If you don't study or pay attention then you won't do well but that's college.

He doesn't care as about your attendance. He give 1 point extra assignments that doesn't help. He does labs but doesn't grade them. He tests are hard. If your not a test taker do not take him at all. Your depends mostly on the lecture test and if you fail. You basically failed the class.

Comment:

Awesome professor, always made class interesting with personal experiences. Definitely one of my favorite classes and professors. Very knowledgeable and helped during dissections but made you think the question out so you were able to learn the material. Class was alot of memorization but he made sure it stuck even to this day.

Comment:

This is one of the coolest professors I have ever had. Quiz's are easy if you pay attention to the labs and test are also easy if you pay attention to lectures. He gives extra credit of a 500 word essay and you hand it in before a test. Guess where those extra credit points go to... YOUR FINAL GRADE. If you miss class, he won't care.

One of the best professors I had at BCC. He's very politically vocal, but that just adds to the fun of the classroom. He truly cares about his students, easy grader. Definitely take any/ all of his classes!

He is the real MVP! Great, entertaining, smart, funny, eco-friendly, genuine professor. Really cares for students, if you visit during office hours he often has candy. Even though lecture isn't mandatory, I would recommend going because he makes jokes during lecture to keep you awake lol, but don't miss lab! Use a reusable water bottle!

He is very funny and in tune with pop culture. His test are straight from the power points but you do have to memorize over 150 slides per test so get ready to study. Lectures are not mandatory but the labs are. Offers three extra credit opportunities during year. Def take again!!!

Great guy, quite entertaining and very enthusiastic. Uses a lot of humor to keep things light because tbh the content is boring. always willing to help students improve grades via extra credit. lecture attendance not mandatory lab is. quizes in lab are easy just study for them. provides powerpoints no textbook needed. mention jeopardy thank me l8r

Overall a great professor. Takes the class to field trips, known for his various bow ties, heavy on lectures, doesn't care about attendance (wouldn't skip though), study his power point and pay attention to what he says and you'll definitely pass.

Best professor ever! Very attractive and class attendance is not mandatory, but lab attendance is mandatory. He is very understanding and absolutely hilarious. No homework, and the "textbook" is a laboratory manual that is used daily in labs. Lectures are easy to understand and tests are very fair. Take this class it's an easy A!

Great professor! Best one I had ever! He's funny, nice, and understanding. Attendance is not mandatory, but the lectures were fun. The test do have a lot of material in them but he gives you everything you need to know and you don't need to purchase a textbook.

This class was fairly easy, but you will learn a lot and he will have you thinking very differently about the environment and your actions -- he LOVES what he does, very passionate, and even if you don't like science - you will not be bored. I wish he taught other sciences!! I have no idea what I'll do after this class because I have to take 1 more

amazing professor. he LOVES what he does. he doesn't care about attendance for lecture, but if you don't go make sure you review the powerpoint because thats your tests. his tests are easy as long as you have the material. in lab you won't get out early but it isn't a waste of time because he's so entertaining. i wish he taught other sciences!

best professor I had while @ Bergen. Test are Super easy if you pay attention to the power point and class discussion. Lab Quizzes also super easy, just do the lab work. I have never had such a passionate professor before, who cared so deeply about what he taught. Take him. He will change your life and the way you look @ the world. He did for me. A

i love professor dill, he is amazing professor. all you need is the Lab book, even though he doesn't let the class out early lol he very funny i really did enjoy this class. most of the text and exam are on the power points and take notes in class and you will do just fine!

If you're bad at science like me, do yourself a favor and take professor Dill. As long as you review a bit from the power point and review sheet before quizzes and test guaranteed easy A. Only has 4 tests and 6 lab quizzes (drops the lowest grade for a quiz). No homework.

I despised the fact that I HAD to take a BIO, but Professor Dill actually made it easy to get through. No homework, your grade is based strictly off of the tests/lab quizzes, study and you'll pass. He gives extra credit opportunities to add to your FINAL grade-take advantage. Attendance is on you-doesn't reflect your grade. WOULD 100% TAKE AGAIN!!

his lectures exams are not easy you do have to study for them, however his lab quiz are a little bit easier. ( study the powerpoints) for each exam you can do extra credit. overall he is a great teacher, nicest guy in BCC, i loved him i would take him again if i could!
