His class is a meme. You need to be intuitive when it comes to anything in his class. Intuitively decipher his hieroglyphics as every word he speaks is punctured by a *sigh*. His algebraic massaging is trivially and remarkably clever and intuitive. Be sure to study for his tests or you and your grade will be mutually annihilated. /s

You can't understand his handwriting, and he teaches as if he expects you to already know the material. Expect to work really hard in his class. If you're stuck in it, don't worry, just do the reviews. Would not willingly take him, though.

Dr. Kallman can be kind of intimidating but that what people who get their PhDs from MIT at 23 are like. He is so smart, but can be difficult to understand at times (his handwriting takes some time to get used to). Read the textbook, do the homework, and do his practice problems. You should walk out with an easy A. Don't worry about his proofs.

For TAMS: Dr. Kallman is an interesting guy. He's a super smart nerd who teaches through theorems, making learning very difficult. Best way to learn: read the textbook. Do homework (50% of grade!). He gives LOTS of extra credit on tests. Prepare for tests by doing the "unique" questions on his 100 question reviews, which will be harder on the test.

Best Professor NA. Every other class seems trivial in comparison to his class. He teaches you how to proficiently algebraically massage all equations and shows you how to solve problems by only looking at it. He also teaches you set theory on the first day and gives extra credit for attendance. GLHF.

Dr. Kallman is a kind and helpful man. Some complain about the pompousness that he seems to have, but I think that he just gets baffled when students don't know something simple that should be known for a Calc II class. Great teacher and is highly intelligent in mathematics. Sprinkles in some fun facts also. Tests are easy.

Probably the worst math professor I've ever had. His handwriting looks like hieroglyphics it is that bad. Plain and simple, he's not a teacher. All your learning will have to be done on your own. Do not take this professor.

Everything that I've learned in this course, I learned outside of class. He is difficult to follow. The majority of things he explained seem to have little relevance to the course. He skips steps and works too fast. I can spend hours doing examples from the book in preparation of an exam, but when I get to the exam it feels like a higher lvl class.

Let me start off by saying this guy is smart, really smart. Unfortunately he isn't a good teacher. I had him for Calculus II and he tried to show all the concepts with proofs. To date he put up 5 example problems not including homework. His handwriting is illegible, he skips steps when explaining things and overall I'd not wish him on my enemies.

He over complicates everything by talking like a textbook, and using completely different obscure methods than the textbook. Goes off on tangents talking about and proving things that are barely related to the class. His writing is incomprehensible, unsatisfactory even for a 3rd grader. His grading composition is irrational, and makes little since.

This is the worst math teacher I have ever had. He gets angry at the class for not asking questions, but then patronizes the students who try. Nothing is made very clear and he often makes mistakes when showing his work. This class is infuriating, his handwriting is terrible. Also no reviews for test.

Has no concerns for the students. He talks down to everyone so no one asks questions anymore. He is very unclear and does a bad job with his expections that every one already knows the material.

I have never had such a strong reaction against a professor before. I went to his class the first day and was amazed that UNT allows him to teach. His handwriting is terrible, really terrible (I could read maybe one out of every 5 lines), and he talks math like an auctioneer. Impossible to follow, I dropped him the first day.

Obviously very intelligent and excellent at math, just not a very clear teacher. Hard to follow lectures, awful handwriting. Had to teach myself out of the book, mostly. He expects you to be a math whiz, if you are, you shouldn't have a problem.

I learned a lot from Bob. The class is very difficult, but his grading reflects that he knows the class is difficult. He does not allow calculators on his test, but even if he did they would not help. He tests your comprehension of the of the concepts not your arithmetic skills.
