Comment:

Bassett is a great guy, however the only grades that are given are on tests. He offers a lot of extra credit, take advantage of it. All tests are 20 multiple choice and are based off of the book and the lecture. He is very approachable, read and take good notes and youll do fine.

Comment:

Dr. Bassett is one of the best teachers I have ever had. He is clear with grading (21 questions, drop one for each test), he loves what he does, and he is a Christian, something you don't see in Psych teachers often. He wants his students to pass and he won't penalize you if you have legitimate reasons for not going to class. He is by far my fave.

Bassett is the bomb, take his class. He is smart, a thorough teacher and is very insightful. Definitely a great professor. He will demonstrate a salsa dance, which is fun, and he says "Doggone" and ma-tour instead of mature, which is adorable. He's close to retirement so get him while he's hot.

One of my favorite professors! Grades are made up of just multiple choice tests, but he tosses out the two lowest tests in the final grade. Lots of extra credit, even just for showing up. He is a great guy!

Dr. Bassett is awesome! Uses, real, relevant and hilarious examples to explain the topic. Allows for lots of extra credit, so if you study and are good at tests (his only grades are on tests) you'll do very well and love this class!

I've taken several courses with Dr. Bassett-including the RWC favorite-"Human Sexuality." He was simply a fantastic professor-tough grader, tough exams-but you learn so much from him. Great man of God too, which is rare in Psych. courses.
