Academically EXCELLENT. This is a man to whom I will come in the future if I have questions about my biblical writings. He is a BRILLIANT man, but he lacks a degree of people skills (though it's not often noticeable). If you want a challenging and fulfilling class, take a Davis course.

I have never learned more from a prof. before. As long as you actually do the homework (come on... we're in college... time to get to work) his class is not difficult. He challenges you and helps you learn more about the Bible as it was intended to be he
