What a grumpy old man! He's so mean and bitter all of the time I actually began to dread class in preparation for what mean things he would say to me. However, he did improve my Spanish skills and understanding immensely. He was very smart and had a good sense of humor. He really made Spanish class an awful experience three times a week.

Native spanish speaker, but not at all helpful. He came to class sick and grumpy when he came at all. I took Adv. Grammer and Comp. from him, and basically had to learn the material from the book. The class was a disaster

I think few people realize that his class is supposed to separate the wheat from the chaff. He expects a little discipline, to be sure, but my grammar was pretty much flawless by the end of the semester. An A is not impossible if you make an effort.

The absolute worst professor I hope to have in my college experience. Often came to class late, impossible to understand, often canceled or rescheduled class, ridiculed students, didn't explain or answer questions. One of the reasons I am not studying spanish anymore. He said he was retiring at the end of last fall, but apparently he's back. beware

Prof. Aiello is a terrible professor. He is probably the worst professor in the Spanish department because there are some good ones. The best advice I can give to a student who is taking Spanish is to never take a class with Prof. Aiello.

While Professor Aiello may seem intimidating in class, meeting with him in person is much different. He's very kind and helpful and wants you to do well in the course. The workload is heavy, but you can get by without doing an exercise or two. Focus on the papers and tests is necessary to do well

He has good days and bad days. He's definitely a moody person, but he's good at teaching and really knows a lot. I was lazy and never came to class with the exercises done and he never cared. He even gave me chances to turn stuff in late.

Professor Aiello was extremely helpful and hilarious. He was extremely knowledgeable and his mood swings aren't that bad. He's very nice especially during office hours, very hospitable.
