Allen is a bit condescending towards others and can even be rude at times. His teaching style is very mechanical and it gets boring really fast. The class is easy overall, but a lot of his questions on tests are random useless trivia.

This class is one big piece of busy work. You complete crossword puzzles, fill out prearranged notes, and listen to Terry drone on for 50 minutes. You’re required to complete 6 hours of practical experience hours which really means you’re free labor to the theatre department. Absolutely no thinking is required for this class, and it's really boring

Ehhh.. he is okay. The quizzes and homework are super easy but the tests are ridiculously hard. He expects you to memorize little facts which really sucks. His lectures are boring because all he does it talk at you. Hopefully he can figure out a way to make class more interesting someday. I did my homework during class.

Dr. Allen is my fave Prof in the Theter department! I think highly of him and it is easy to do well in his Theater History class. He knows his stuff and directs amazing productions.
