I LOVED ROISIN. She was so funny and nice and really made me care about european integration. The class was difficult and her tests were brutal. I only missed a few classes and had a really hard time catching up on the material. So, going to class is kind of essential. She's really nice though and if she sees your trying she'll help you out.

Roisin is a lovely person and I wanted to like this class, but it was really hard. Most of the difficulty was from her lectures not being clear enough. She does not write on the board and she can get lost in the middle of her lectures. The tests are not easy, but she is very willing to help and wants her students to succeed. Just don't fall behind.

Roisin is awesome!! Money and Banking was the most useful econ course I've had in my econ career. (253 is really hard but educational).Roisin has worked as a high powered economist, so she teaches it well, plus she makes cute jokes about being Irish and being hired for her drinking ability. You def must take her class at least once while at Smith!!

She is the nicest econ prof I've ever had! Even though the material can be difficult she's always willing to help you. I still talk to her regularly and I haven't had a class with her for 2 semesters.
