Great guy, really, and a wonderful lecturer; but must we really pay 20 dollars to get a book only to have him read it to us in his lectures? ok, not read it, but the man published his lectures and then basically kept the lectures the same while still assigning us the book!!!

His Self Culture Society class was awesome. He made his political leanings known, but even the conservative studens in the class found themselves benefitting from his extremely liberal ideology. Even took the class to see a play at The Steppenwolf.
