Nice guy, very ambiguous. This combination can make you like and hate his class at the same time. Personally I enjoyed his class. I derived some sort of sick pleasure watching other students squirm in their seats.

Though others and Russ claim otherwise the class is cake if you bother to show up. Russ is too interested in handing out A's and caters to the lowest common denominator, making the class far too simple and juvenile in its simplicity. Don't take it if you don't have to, and if you do and find it hard, you might not be cut out for higher education.

Worst professor I have ever had in college. Russ is too ambiguous and rarely prepares for class. When students challenges him, he quickly interupts and guide the conversation to favor his ideals. He often boasts how good his classes are but he doesn't have the credentials or skills to support that.

If you want to feel like you're back in High School, this is the class for you. Russ is completely arrogant and unhelpful. Some days I would rather fail out of school than go to micros. Probobly the worst teacher I've ever had in anything in my life. THANK GOD HE'S LEAVING NEXT SEMESTER!

By far the WORST teacher/professor I have ever had in my entire life. Incredibly unhelpful and arrogant, he does not know how to teach. My idea of a professor is that they should try to help students as much as they can. He thinks that's "spoonfeeding" but nothing could be farther from the truth.

This man is an absolute idiot. He has rediculous requirements and has a scewed view of the world. For instance his way of "getting rid of sexism" in one project dealing with pilots and flight attendants is to have all the pilots female and all the attendants male. "To even it out".
