The tests are very difficult and there are a lot of trick questions. He does not give reviews for the exams. Class is very boring. It will be a hard course especially if you hate math like me.

I passed by the skin of my teeth on subjects that were not complicated. You will need to heavily utilize online resources. He only uses powerpoint from the book and goes over problems from the book, yet has the gaul to throw curveballs on tests with problems we have never seen or discussed. STOP TRYING TO TRICK STUDENTS.

Nice guy & helpful when you ask questions. He goes over any hwk problems that you have. 4 exams grades are 80% of your final grade (20% for Lab). No partial credit on exams... highest test average in our class was like a 75. So he curves everyone's grades on a bell curve projection... If he gave partial cred then the class would of been better

Labs were easy, the lab assignments on the other hand were graded on the tougher side. The exams were difficult if you didn't study, but there are plenty of examples in his textbook that can help you out.

Lectures seem like literally from his book--sort of wondering why I bothered going at all instead of reading (most of us never showed up at all). Labs are what will save your grade if you need it. His classes, though short, feel long and stretched while spending it all on 1 or 2 examples. Tests are overwhelming--especially if you hate math.

Very Fair Professor. Extremly difficult course. I failed every exam and still left with a C-. The only thing you really need to be sure of is that you do well on the labs which are done in a group, (We got A's on all the labs) and common sense stuff... Be lab partners with someone smart and you'll be okay.

Comment:
He's a very boring professor. He simply stands up there and talks while drawing on the board. Tests are straight forward as long as you know how to use the formulas (provided for each test). Do well on the labs (which are very easy and straight forward) and do reasonably well on the tests and you should pass easily.

He's very smart, so smart that the lectures sound like theoretical speeches more than actual content. The work is out his own written book. and he does review problems if asked. It was a 50min class and this were often so unclear. no tech use at all. no blackboard or anything.

Sadu is almost too smart and physics comes too easy for him. Physics is not an easy class to begin with but the class was pretty easy. I took it over the winter for 3 weeks, only 3 test, and 7 labs in groups. Don't really need the book just study the online info, very helpful!!! Got a B+.

Good old "SADU!" EXTREMELY hard class, very hard to understand but i was told by everyone no matter what you do the lowest you can possibly get in his class is a C. i got all D's and an F on his tests, but attended class and completed all the labs. I just checked my grades and i got a C+...take his class for an easy C!

He is a very good professor and cares a lot about students even when they don't put in the minimum amount of work. Obviously he doesn't give credit if the student doesn't show work - physics is all about the work.

The book was the worst thing I have ever seen for a 100 level class. It was ridiculous. I tried to write everything down that he put on the board, but he's a fast teacher. Hardly any class interaction. If you know physics, you'll do OK. If you don't, or you've been out for a while, I would suggest another teacher.

The absolute worst teacher I've ever had in my life! He is not clear, his tests don't make sense, and he doesnt try to help you! If you can, take someone else! Otherwise take physics somewhere else!

Great at teaching at a level that allows each student to understand the material without being redundant.
