Great professor. I took this class online. All essays and Discussion board posts must reach the correct number of word or you will recieve half credit. Exams are easy if you use the study guides. It's helpful to complete the sutdy guides as you read the text.

If you do the three essays and three discussion boards, you will automatically receive credit for them. (Awesome!) He is super nice and great at explaining. If you do the study guides before tests & answer them thoroughly/study them well...the tests are cake! Highly recommend Mabe!

Took online class.Nice teacher.Discussion board (atleast 200 words)& essays(atleast 500 words)they had to be in on time or no grade. Test were very hard.Study guide was fill in the blank, & answers were long. For the test it was to much to remember in such a short period of time. You have deadlines to meet,& have to go on campus for each test.

Mr. Mabe is the most spectacular teacher. I was always interested in Psychology, but he drew it out (it's now my major). He involves the class, does fun activities. His teaching style is very relaxed. He uses the book a lot for his teaching. TAKE ONE OF HIS CLASSES!

I took this class FLO and I didn't think it was very easy. There are a LOT of long definitions. He gives us a study guide and I answered and studied all the questions, but there were still a lot of questions not on there! He can't expect us to know the study guide AND all the definitions!

He is an awesome teacher. He makes it very interesting. He has been my favorite teacher so far. Take good notes because most of his tests go by them, as well as his final exams. He interacts with the class too. Pay attention and study and you will do great, I promise!
