Professor Chung is a great instructor. Read the book, participate, keep up with the homework and you'll do well. Ask questions. I liked that she reviewed the material many times, it helped reinforce what was learned. Take her class you won't regret it.

Professor Chung is a fantastic educator! She is more than happy to help you understand the concepts of accounting which are difficult at first grasp, however not to worry Professor Chung will clear everything up for you as long as you pay attention. She makes her classes fun, entertaining and interactive. I highly recommend her.

Professor Chung taught a challenging class, but assisted us to ensure that everybody had the same chance to pass. Leaving her class you feel more than ready to begin work in the accounting field. I only took her for acct 1 but once I entered acct 2 I felt prepared since the first day because of professor Chung.

I never thought I would ever understand accounting. I was afraid, I took the class, Ms Chung was amazing, friendly and I learned a lot. I am actually looking forward to acct2. I don't even know who I am any more. Thank you for a great class.

I found annoying that during the semester she missed 3 Mondays without giving a heads up. A lot of us had to work and drive a distance only to arrive and find out there was no class on that day. I find it absolutely disrespectful and unprofessional. At the end, we had to crunch up 3 very difficult chapters in 2 weeks. Not good...

This is 2nd accounting class and I both times it has been hard, expecially during the summer semester. Professor Chung is a really great teacher. Things were really busy because we only met a few weeks, but she made sure everyone was keeping up and learning along the way. Thank you for a great class.

A lot of hw (online & written), but you learn by repetition, right? 3 chapters and a test each week. LOTS of extra credit to "boost" you up a grade. Wish she would lecture more than review hw by doing problems. Attend every class/participate it will help you learn the material. Question? Speak up! Somewhat sarcastic, but don't take it to heart !

First impression she's tough, but she's a mix of nice, fair and strict EDUCATOR. Accounting in summer was intense (a chapter a day) but she's very helpful and clear. No late homework, she'll go over homework next class. Read book before class. Informative lectures , so don't miss class! Plus bonus for participation. Id take her for any other class

Class was very difficult but making friends help! Did well in the class by making friends. Spent way too much time submitting homework online. I needed as much time as I had to study. Three chapters a week before the final was crazy. She is extremely rude. Blows my mind away.

Learned a lot. Difficult class but not her fault. Having us submit the homework online and on paper was a waste of time that could have been used for studying. Two-three new chapters learned every week for the summer course. Make friends cause you'll need the extra help. Extra credit provided! Very rude professor. It blows my mind away.

Learned more with her students she made a tutor. Ps: her student was never offered extra credit or pay for her tutoring services. Has a really rude and sarcastic attitude. Overall a hard class. Oh and she teaches three new chapters two days before the final.

Pretty good overall. She gives a couple solid tips on dealing with the complications of accounting. Good details on what to expect on testes. I would have appreciated a little more lecture time and less administrative tasks. The homework system is tedious, too much time spent writing and checking homework that is more efficiently done online.

Professor Chung is an amazing and patient teacher. She knows what she's talking about and her classes are well organized. No late homework accepted so if you're a slacker don't recommend this class for you. A lot of opportunity for bonus points which are very helpful. Attendance is not mandatory but if you miss a class you will be lost.

Professor Chung is one of the best professors I've had in LAVC. She has a clear way of grading and provides a lot of extra "bonus points", she also has a lot of patience with the students that don't understand the material. I personally learned a lot on her class. Homework and reading the book are a must.

Every Professor Chung was prepared and energized throughout each class. She has the experience needed to teach students, like myself, who had no idea what accounting entailed. I definitely recommend her. She's tough, but is realistic, and allows you extra credit points, and allows you do drop your lowest test grade, etc. Thank you, Ms. Chung!
