If you are a decent student you will get at least a B in this class but don't expect an A unless you really know how to write like a philosopher. Besides that, Professor Berman is so sweet and really into what she is saying. Philosophy is really her life! There are 3-4 tests and 1 essay, 2 are given but only one is mandatory.

Helpful, energetic, pleasant, and brilliant. We all, for the most part, don't want to be in a philosophy class but she is very passionate about it and if you apply yourself even 80% of the way you will do fine in her courses. She is nice, slight accent, and once again very passionate. Will smile at you in the halls after taking her years later!

one of the nicest professors out there. So cute and helpful. Had the cutest French accent and made things easy and interesting. Told everyone what was exactly on the test and what the answers were. she was great!

Very Knowledgeable professor. She takes pride in Philosophy(Especially Descartes) and is always enthusiastic when discussing it. She provides outlines to all of her Tests in addition to notes.

Interesting subject matter and she really knows her stuff. Be sure to give your opinion in class because participation counts a lot which is good because the tests are real killers and she penalizes you for poor writing.
