I thought he was an amazing professor! He explains everything in detail, maybe a bit too much, but it helped some people in the class. He does have an accent so if you don't like accents don't take him. I enjoyed his class and I never really enjoyed a math class before.

Worst professor I have taken. Doesn't work with you to understand with the way we may have known with HS and rants about problems since he is the chair. When you ask him a question he never actually gives you the answer to what you asked. Two test and two homework.

For me he was a good teacher. He knows his Math and tries to explain it thoroughly. His accent is NOT difficult to comprehend, people over exaggerate. He also gives you life lessons and tips sometimes to use in your life, take advantage of this, he is older and wiser... he knows a bit more than we do.

don't even know where to start. nice man but a very terrible class. he only gives a couple of tests in the semester so if you fail one you are already in trouble. he assigns homework but never even checks it. if you have someone sign you in, he would never realize if you were even in the class. tests are about 10 questions not even. good luck!!!

I had such high expectations for this class, but it was the total opposite. He does not teach well at all, heavy accent and does not check homework. Total of 3 exams the ENTIRE semester so do well!! He considers the first exam as a midterm grade. The entire class used the app "PhotoMath". If it weren't for that app i would be retaking this course!!

I could not understand what he was saying through his accent. He makes you buy his book which has countless errors and then boasts about how great it is. He'll usually be 5-10 minutes late, so don't hurry to get there, but you won't know what's going on if you miss class. 3 tests, but you'll do better trying to figure it out for yourself.

I love this teacher! He's reasonable and often cracks jokes in class despite his heavy accent. He's head of the math department, and is a very intelligent professor. He's reasonable with the tests although there are only 5-10 questions he gives partial credit, and does not collect homework. Highly recommend him for College Algebra at St. Francis!

I took Calculus I with him at Hunter (where he is an adjunct), and it was the best experience I've ever had. Intelligent, smartly dressed, organized, methodical, a star. He is truly a great teacher, and a blessing to those who want to learn mathematics. Plus, he rolls his own cigarettes. Rock on, Fotios.
