Comment:

Overall it is a pretty easy class and not much homework but he awful at his lectures. He thinks his Sullivan's review days are amazing but they can be hard to follow and not really of great help, a study guide would be way more helpful. We are meant to learn this stuff, this isn't time for him to trick us with questions. Study guides are helpful.

Steve would be a great teacher, if he applied himself. Read the textbook, take your own notes, listen to his lectures (though he's mostly reliving his glory days, which gets irritating quickly). There is test review, he literally tells you everything you need to study. So, spend time studying and show up to class.

Love Sullivan!! Took his class over the summer and its an easy pass as long as you show up, listen and answer questions from the book, youll pass! Hes a great teacher! He reads straight from the book but doesnt make it boring at all!

I took his Intro to Criminal Justice class during the summer & overall, he is a good teacher. You will learn a lot about his personal life, rather than the course. His lectures are just him reading from the book. All you need to do to pass is listen. He goes over the whole test, so you know what to study. There is also extra credit option as well.

I have him for two other classes, police and community and intro to criminal justice. My problem with Juvenile is the Red Wing Field trip. It's scheduled on a day other than his class period, and I have classes on that day that are mandatory attendance classes. It's a required field trip, with no real alternative. Only major negative overall.

TAKE. THIS. CLASS. He offers amazing insight into the life of a police officer. He was absolutely hilarious and a great guy, the time flew by every class. Tests are *extremely* easy, going to review days basically guarantee that you'll get an A+ on tests. I'm not a Crim. Just. major, but I got a solid understanding of the subject from him.

Amazing professor. Love the class as well as my peers. Loved to be off topic and was interested in you as a person, not just a student. Attendance is required, but allows 6 "free" days. I would definitely take any of his classes.
