One of my favorite teachers so far. You can tell she really cares about the subject. There were quite a few opportunities for extra credit. If you show up and pay attention you should have no problem. Her exams aren't too bad except that it wasn't entirely multiple choice but that gives you a chance to show your understanding if you paid attention.

Easily one of the best professors I ever had. She even convinced me to become a history major. She makes class enjoyable and fun plus she is very fair on grading. If you ever have the opportunity to take her class, take it. You won't regret it.

She made me actually enjoy going to history class. I had never liked nor done particularly well in the subject, but she made it a lot of fun! She's so enthusiastic about History and she knows a lot. The lectures were engaging (even though it is a power hour course) and she even sings sometimes. I really enjoyed this course.

Her class was so much fun. You can tell that she loves history. However, this class requires essay writing. So if you prefer multiple choice exams, this class may not be for you. But I can tell you that you will learn a lot if you have her for HIST 152:)

LOVE HER! She is so enthusiastic about what she is teaching. No tests, papers are super easy and quiz's are NOT hard as long as you read the material. She is so full of energy and interesting to listen too.

Great teacher!! Very entertaining, and spoke clearly and eloquently. Will even entertain you by singing and dancing. It's a little harder because you have to write papers, but you learn a lot more than with multiple choice. Date memorization is not important at all. You just need to understand concepts.

The best professor i’ve had at Purdue! She makes the course challenging but doable, and she actually cares about her students and, if you show that you are willing, she is more than ready to help you out. If you’re willing to put in the effort this course is amazing, but be prepared to put in some effort.
