Dr Syed may be a decent teacher for other courses, but absolutely not micro. He reads straight from the ppts bullet by bullet, but he doesn't explain anything. He also doesn't teach from the book. His accent is very hard to understand and he's soft spoken. Told his students if they fail his class, they will fail all upper level classes. RUDE!

Easy class, just make sure you pay attention in class in order to know what he will be focusing on tests. He's nice too, gives extra credit. The extra credit is usually said in class so it's REALLY important to listen to everything he says in class. If you can't go to class, have someone record the class for you (he lets you record)

Dr. Sy was a great foundations teacher! His accent really isn't as bad as people make it sound, for the most part, he just says 'actually' alot. He doesn't like the use of cellphones, but if you pay attention to what he says, it isn't hard to follow along. If you don't understand something, he will take the time to sit and explain it to you.

Not only was he hard to understand speaking wise but he was not a good teacher at all. The coursework was thick and did not make sense because he could not break down the information AT ALL! Do not take him. Take this as a warning.
