One of the best professors in the Biology department. He offers some extra credit. He is a very fair profesor and is extremely helpful and wants his students to do well.

Professor Frey is extremely helpful, the only bad thing of this class are the exams. They are extremely hard, and require you to remember lots of details. READ THE CHAPTER BEFORE GOING TO LECTURE! you should be able to pass this course if you do so.

It is hard to listen to his monotone lecture, but he does explain things clearly and slowly. His test is very fair, not tricky, and he gives extra credit!

Wonderful teacher. Extremely helpful! Understands that the material is difficult so he offers extra credit! He's not that boring compared to the rest of the biology teachers and makes good jokes once in a while!

Comment:

One of the worst professors I have ever had. His lectures are extremely boring and he doesn't know how to make info understandable to students. He just mumbles in the front of the room the whole time. Tests are hard and confusing. He often has to correct himself making it more confusing. So disappointed in this class and I had no other option.

Lectures are kind of difficult to pay attention to so early in the morning, and I sometiems felt like he went off on tangents about things that weren't really on the test. He's a nice guy and a caring professor, but it's a difficult subject to grasp, and it doesn't help that his lectures were sometimes difffcult to follow.

Dr. Frey is boring but he is really nice. Test are hard but with a lot of study you can pass. Study ahead of time b/c chapters go by fast; don't fall behind. I put a lot of time and effort into the class and I got a B. STUDY!

Dr. Frey is a very friendly guy in his office hours and I recommend going in to see him on a regular basis, however he is rather monotone in the morning and it is difficult to pay attention the entire time. He is more than willing to help and his exams really aren't that hard IF YOU STUDY. I got an A in this class with a LOT of hard work and effort

Frey's part of the lecture is kinda dry, being its molecular biology and not genetics. His test questions, however are straightforward and easy to understand. Hes montone and 8 in the morning will easily make you fall asleep.

He really knows what he is talking about, but is kind of boring. His lectures are real monotone, so it's easy to fall asleep. His tests are easy though, just take the online quizzes like 5x. He ends up using questions from the quizzes (verbedum) so it's easy to just memorize answers.

you have to have a phd to understand this guy sometimes. talks really fast and in monotone so lectures become extremely frusterating. Unfortunately, if your a bio major you can't avoid him so i reccomend reading the book. Even then you can still get screwed.
