Excellent professor, sweet lady. Lectured objectively while the subject being lectured on, the Arab-Israeli Conflict, is one that is hard to have an objective take on. Very helpful and nice to talk to.Course was a 3 week class so it was intense dont need to buy the book everything she tests on is from lecture which you must take good notes on.

Amazing...I wish she taught more. Just got to class and take notes and you'll do great. Make sure to study for exams. She makes it very interesting and easy to remember!! Loved her!

Arab Israeli Conflict course covered a great amount of material and she had a commanding knowledge of the subject, though I would recommend the course only to those with an interest in the subject less they loss interest in the never ending conflict. Course was moderately difficult.

VERY smart woman and good lecturer. her tests and quizzes are pretty hard unless you read the assigned texts, but even then i was struggling. she covers a lot of stuff i'd imagine other professors ignore, which is awesome.

What can I say that has not already been said about Dr. Terry? She is great. Having said this, I think that she could make her classes a little more challenging. Nevertheless, Her lectures are superb and she is full of interesting insights. Also, I have to recommend her course on North Africa.

I had to re-take this class after taking Janice Terry but she was a VERY good lecturer but her tests were really hard. If you study hard you will do well on her exams.I would recommend taking John Mayernik if you were interested in HIST 103. Tests are so much easier and he is an awesome lecturer!!

Best History teacher I have ever had. makes the lecutures interesting and you can follow quite easily. very nice. 3 tests and some quizzes but as long as you go to class and take good notes and do some studying for them they are fairly easy. Take good notes=don't have to read. sad when she retires.
