He is a terrible human being and professor. I cannot wait to flip him the bird if he attends my graduation next semester. He favors History majors so lie to him and tell him you are a History major- seriously! He will not assist you with anything and is my most hated professor I have EVER had at WU.

He is the worst professor at Washburn University. His classes are lecture heavy and uninteresting. He never responded to my emails and wouldn't offer extra help. His grading material isn't clear so he will score you poorly just because he does not like you. Attend class!! Dr. Prasch taught me how NOT to be as a future teacher!!!

Absolutely masterful lecturer. There's a reason he's head of department - this dude knows his stuff, and is excellent at teaching it in a meaningful way. He often disagrees with the book, it is not a necessary purchase - got an A without it. Your grade rides on 3 in-class essays, and 3 primary source essays. Generous grader, allows for cheat sheet

Dr. Prasch is a very intelligent and (mostly) engaging professor, but his expectations for an introductory-level class are just a bit too much. The only grades in the class are three tests and three take-home tests, but they are all essay-based. This automatically puts lots of students at a disadvantage, since writing is not everyone's strong suit.

Overall you don?t have to attend class. His lectures are not what the tests are over. At the beginning of every test period, he gives the test out and he lets you have a full sheet of paper as a cheat sheet. Also for every test you have to read a certain book and write an essay about it answering one of 4 questions he has written?DON?T PLAGERIZE

Professor has cool ties - flying pigs - and is always dressed sharply. He is the best lecturer, and teaches my favorite classes - world history. The students are rude and disrespectful in some class; text messages and watch movies on their cell phones. Speaks eloquently as a dream, and soothing - students fall asleep in class after staying out

I took Changing World History, and believe me... this guys knows his stuff. He launched right into it; his teaching style is smooth and clear. Everything he tells you fits together, and as long as you show up for the lectures and take good notes, you'll do fine on his tests, which are usually a bunch of short-answer definitions and an essay.

Dr. Prasch is a nice and fun guy who knows his emphases and topics like the back of his hand. The only problem I had with him was that he takes forever to grade papers and tests. I mean, I know he's busy, but so are we. I recommend his classes.

I took World History II as an online class so I am unsure how he rates as a face to face teacher. He never seemed to be around or have time to answer questions. All tests were not given a grade for a month.
