I did not enjoy this class what so ever. I understand BIO isn't supposed to be easy. But he tended to clap his hands and stomp his feet if the students didn't understand something. he was also inaccessible outside of class. There are quizzes every Friday. He has to curve his grading scale because the class is hard. AVOID IF POSSIBLE.

Great professor, gives good lectures but they are long and sometimes boring. There are quizzes every Monday, but they're small and easy fill in the blank and MC questions. show up and pay attention and you'll pass.

I am currently enrolled in Professor Ekunsanmi's class and I genuinely enjoy it. Yes, it's fast paced and the classes are long, however, he makes it doable and fun. If you are struggling, there are plenty of ways to get extra credit to boost your grade. There should be no reason not to pass. 10/10 would recommend to take Toye for Microbiology.

Fab teacher! He always had powerpoint outline printed for students to take notes & explain chap/subject he was lecturing on that day. He did have quizzes every mon (not multiple ch) & there were 4-5 Exams + final Exam (multiple choice). Several HW sheets & sm projects. I changed my major because I fell in love w/ BIO & microbio because of Toye!

Biology is honestly a hard class. I've learned to like bio though! Its a interesting class. Very fast paced and lots of notes. He's a nice guy though once he gets to know you. Very intelligent man. Tests are hard.... he sometimes gives study guides but none of the questions will be on the test. Just a fair warning .

Do not take this class if you think it's going to be a fun subject or an easy class. Toye is a good guy, really nice, but his tests are near impossible. The tested material are all things that he knows, but none of the students know. Nit-picky as hell for grading tests. Also, for being General Botony, it's basically advanced Microbiology.
