Comment:

Professor Tremper is a very famous yet kind professor. He gave great lecuture, not limited to the scripture itself, but supplement lots of useful background to better understand the Bible. Also provided more viewpoints to the perticular points. He also gave lots of valuable recommendation of bibliography. He also gets quick feedback outside class.

Hardest class I've ever taken. Lectures are long, subject matter is dense, and his theology is slightly strange for my slightly conservative taste. He's pretty entertaining though.

Longman really opened my eyes to the Old Testament. You can tell that he is very passionate about his profession and is very intentionalconsistent with what he believes. There are only four tests so study hard and do the extra credit. Also, use your resources, aka the tests floating around campus. He allows this so its not cheating.

One of my absolutely favorite professors at Westmont thus far. I am going out of my way to tell you this class is a must take. I dropped out of professor Nelsons class to take Longman because it is actually possible to succeed in his class. I would have gotten an F in Nelson's class but because of Longman i received a B- in his course! A Funny man!

he knows SO much about the OT, its crazy. and the he's a great teacher, so you learn alot by taking the class. He's really funny, too. Take really good notes and study hard because the tests are intense. But seriously, it would be a shame to take OT from anyone else.

Not only is his name awesome, his class is also. He's not arrogant at all about the work he's done, but makes jokes about them. Ask him about the eagles, his favorite football team, to get off on the right foot. I laugh out loud every class and also learn a whole lot. Take him, hands down.
