I took her a couple of years ago and she was terrible. Yes, she does take points off for grammar mistakes, but in her defence all of you complaining about the fact that she takes points off for grammar, please learn to spell grammar. It is GRAMMAR, not GRAMMER.

People who didn't do well were slackers. If you speak up in class and show effort, she gives effort in helping you. You must show her you TRIED to solve an issue before she helps. It is college! Her optional final however is not worth the struggle. Study hard for the main tests.

Professor's constant disrespect and humiliation forced me to have a meeting with the dean and her boss. When I tried to approach her with my concerns, she was quick to dismiss my arguments, roll her eyes at me, and practically threw me out of her office.

Dr. Spitler is the most condescending professor I have ever had. The learning environment is compromised because students do not ask questions for fear of being humiliated. She has a very high opinion of herself and thinks she is above everyone.
