Mr.P does not lecture like the typical professor instead he has discussions each class. The discussions have to start with you asking the questions and then he will go on and on about a point. His pop quizzes are based off the reading but there is no good review for the quizzes or "quests". He can be funny but also very politically incorrect.

Class discussions have nothing to do with the subject. Then he gives pop quizzes and tests that require an astonishing amount of detail. His grading is terrible, you better ask him what a fallacy is because whatever you come up with is wrong. Don't plan on getting higher than a C. Interesting guy but not meant to teach.

fun class, but do NOT show up late to his class, you will not be allowed in. the class itself is interesting, but not directly linked to the quizzes or tests. try to stay on his good side, and remember he is always right. do not be a liberal like myself in the class or you will constantly be the subject of attention. do the readings and good luck!

Great Guy but tough teacher really strict with attendance....class is fun because he jokes alot but you must read the chapters for the tests and quiz otherwise expect to do awful. The chapters are long.Lenient with his grading system for your final average even if you bomb some of the quizzes as long as you show effort.

Mr. P is hysterical. He loves to tell it like it is, and loves stirring debate. Only used the textbook for exams. As long as you speak up, and pay attention to what he says you'll be fine. One of the best classes at Salve.
