This professor sometimes has an attitude when it comes to helping students. Tests every 2 weeks got to be annoying but helped you learn material. Usually she was happy about lecturing. Graded on a curve to help out the class because her tests were sometimes unfair. Oh and one thing I hated was having the homework due after tests

Ok for me it is the most boring subject ever. Mrs. Coombs has a passion for the material, but teaches only from one direction. So if you are struggling and need a different perspective it is a bit challenging.

Very straightforward teacher. She taught fairly closely from the book, but added in a lot of depth that the authors left out. The primary author of the book actually substituted one day and he wasn't very good. There are about 2 homework assignments and 1 test a month. Overall she seemed very intersted in the subject matter.

The first test is reeeallllyy easy which makes you think that that is what the rest of the course is like. however, it gets much harder. If you do the homework and go to every class and pay attention then you will do fine. D

Enjoyed taking this class. She made math easier for me. Make sure you do all your homework because it is reflected on both homework and tests. She is always available for her office hours and is worth getting help from if you need it.

I am normally bad at math, and this teacher made everything really easy to understand even if it was complicated material. She is really nice and if you are having trouble she will help you out. The only reason I got a C in the class was because I did every other homework(about one-two hours worth every week), even though she drops two HW grades.

I thought this class was very helpful--especially for Exam P (it was the reason why I passed). She knew her stuff, and her class has helped A LOT with other Probability classes. I definitely recommend this class & professor.

She was friendly but doesn't seem to know the material well. She definitely lacks confidence on the subject matter and often had trouble with calculations. The tests were alternately very hard and very easy. It was difficult to know what to expect on a test. We didn't finish the syllabus because she was almost a month behind. Avoid her if you can.

Great teacher. She's kinda quirky, but she's very nice. She knows a lot about what she teaches, and is honest if she doesn't know the answer to a question. She goes through everything step by step, and if you send her your projects a few days before they're due, she'll tell you what's wrong with them in time to fix it and then get full points.

Easy project points, she gives excellent examples and notes, and homework is due once every two or three classes. Tests are not too easy but make sure you do all of the homework and study the homework and notes before the test.
