She is stupid! She always goes off subject and never really explains anything she just has you read your text book but if you dont read it who cares because you dont do anything with it! Shes annoying! I WOULD ADVISE YOU TO NOT! take a class from her! you wont learn anything!

she is a very nice professor but kinda behind the times. she grades pretty easy! she goes off subject quite a bit. lets you "miss" an assignment - she says school is hard and doesn't want her assignments to stress us out so we are allowed to skip a paper

horrible--I would NEVER take another class from her. her expectations on assignments are VERY unclear and her expectations high. if u say "friendship" on a paper, she will count off, because she wants you to say "warm, close friendship", or something to that extent. u have to talk like she does to get the grade.

I've taken two classes with her in consecutive semesters. She has been one of my favorite profs. She could be a bit more engaging, but overall, tends to have quite interesting discussions. She is quite flexible on essays and offers as much help as she can. I'd give her an 'A-'

Her lectures are rather boring but this is about as easy as you can get for a comp. class. Read the small essays she assigns, go to class and just do your essays. She gives you on average 10 or more days to do each one. She's very nice, just don't take advantage of that and you'll do fine. She is a very understanding professor.

Like other comments made, she does second guess herself often. For her lectures, she reads from the analysis of others and avoids questions with, "I'll let you look further into that." Overall, not a bad class, but I did want to bang my head into my desk quite a few times. My tip: If you want to learn something, take this class from someone else.

This class was pretty boring and very unclear at times. But Ms. Pruitt got our class to participate in some very interesting discussions. There is a lot of work and reading required in this class, but it is fairly easy if you just stay on top of it. She is a very nice woman who is quite helpful and understanding.
