Dr. Pang is a great asset to education at SDSU. She makes this class very interesting and full of energy. I learned so much through her activities and films that we watch on line. She builds confidence in her student by guiding them to succeed in this class. Take this class and open mind to a new perspective of learning.

Being an engineering major, I took this class because it worked with my schedule and it counted for one of my upper division General Ed classes I planned on just doing the minimum to get by and I didnt know what to expect, but to a pleasant surprise it was REALLY FUN and exciting! I recommend it to everyone I know. Dr. Pang is an AWESOME teacher!

This class required us to attend class once a week and complete work online. Attendance is taken at the end of class through a simple exercise. There are very interesting presentations and activities. Dr. Pang truly cares about her students! She wants everyone to succeed and learn how to become wonderful teachers in their futures.

Dr. Pang definitely cares about her students' well-being in addition to their learning. You get experience working with children at an elementary school learning fair and learn about societal/educational issues other professors fail to address. Great for future educators and those who are just curious.

The most wonderful, helpful teacher I have ever had. Her class is very useful for the credential program, especially the textbook! She has the class develop a lesson plan/project to teach to the children at Golden Avenue Elementary in Lemon Grove. The class is a wonderful experience and I highly recommend it!

Dr. Pang is informed from research, experience in classroom - also a genuinely caring person. Class reading isn't difficult nor extensive, but describes ideas about learning that will help you develop teaching philosophy. Will carry you through Cred Prog., PACT, teaching career. I'm a more effective and more caring teacher bc of this class.

Dr. Pang is the most carrying and helpful professor you will find. Her book teaches many concepts useful in other classes too. Her detailed syllabus describes exactly how to get an A in her class. Her final project looks intense, but in fact it isn?t. Do it!! Dr. Pang will help you succeed. The Learning Fair is fun and a big learning avenue. You wi

I highly suggest taking Dr. Pang's class. Her quiz questions come straight from the book and the optional assignment at the end enables you to get an A in the class, but without it the highest grade you can get is a B. The optional assignment is completely reasonable and worth doing. Dr. Pang is extrememly caring and helpful.

Dr. Pang's class was the best class I've had at state. As a fourth year, that means a lot! She is incredibly caring and helpful. She creates a very positive environment and the work load is reasonable. The field trip is definitely worth it and at the end of the semester she offers an optional assignment that if you do you can get an A.

Worst teacher it has ever been my displeasure to meet. Changed the syllabus 9+ TIMES in the semester without ever telling the students. AND CHANGED THE GRADING SCALE AFTER THE FINAL WAS TAKEN. Makes you read the book SHE wrote, which is terrible! Doesn't make sense, introduces new concepts at the end of chapters, poorly written. AVOID AT ALL COST!!

when is extra credit not extra credit? when it counts for 15% of your grade. Good at communicating, but few directions so you mostly on your own for the online class. She is so one of those teacher that forgets you have other classes.

Dr. Pang is a wonderful professor! She's one of the most caring teachers I've ever encountered. Class is interesting and engaging, and Dr. Pang even brought us snacks a few times. She is a very sweet lady who will work with you if there be any such need. The final project is fairly simple once you sit down and get to work. So do it!Take her class!

Prof. Pang is very interesting. She is pretty easy, and knows her stuff, but makes up BS on the fly a lot. It becomes pretty funny. The learning fair is kind of a joke, but very fun and a good learning experience. She is a very nice person and is actively involved in the education community. Most assignments were unclear. Final is a joke.

Such an amazing teacher. Very inspiring! Final really isn't much of anything, final paper is optional, but you can't get an A if you don't do it. You'll still get a B if you just show up. Quizes were pretty much non-existant after first few classes. I wish every professor was like her, my absolute favorite at State. Don't pass on taking her class!!
