Solid Professor. Lots of work and nonstop papers, but fair grader. Accessible during the week and weekends. I would definitely take another class with her again.

Dr. W is great. Class had a decent amount of work but nothing impossible. You have to pace yourself and ask questions when needed. Dr. W is easy to get in touch with. Great class overall.

I found this class to be paced well. The paper was split into parts which made it more manageable. Grading is fair. Putting citations in each forum post and reply was tedious and did not add value to the course. The final exam covered a lot of material and there was no preparatory information or guidance. Do not expect timely feedback.

Dr. Waugh is very responsive to questions on the material and assignment clarifications. Grading is extremely fair, assignments are clear, but weekly postings and responses have guidelines that are strictly adhered to. There is a group project, but it isn't too bad (it's broken up into 4 parts so you'll know early on if you're on the right path).

Comment:
Although Waugh is very clear in her expectations, I think they are a little high and overly demanding when it comes to weekly postings. If you like busy work, then you won't mind, but I found postings and having to have APA formatted sources cited for every posting to be tedious and unnecessary- it did not in any way contribute to my learning.

She is the nicest most helpful teacher I have had in my four years here. She is always available and willing to help. Very understandable and knowledgable. I would recommend any of her classes just to experience a great teacher.
