Just grind the finals and you'll be fine! Bill is awesome has great jokes. Sometimes his slides and he are a bit monotone but seriously just grind tf out of midterms and finals and you'll be fine.

224 isn't an easy course to begin with, but Bishop makes sure to provide as many exams to help you out. If you thoroughly go through all the exams he posted and on the exam bank, you can finish his exams relatively quickly. It is a lot of material, and you will have to go through a lot. Office hours are useful.

He knows his stuff and he can be engaging at times, but generally this course is just not easy to make interesting. He is a very interesting person to talk to if you get a chance though. Most people just don't pay attention because the course isn't included in GPA calculations. Read his slides once or twice and the final test is a breeze.

Very good overall, however group projects are a pain because it's randomized. Also his exams are no joke. If you know what you're doing you can easily finish in 30 minutes, but if you don't there's little hope for part marks.

Despite his monotone, Prof Bill is great! His lectures are well organized and clear. However there is a LOT of content, so he accommodates all students around the week to ask questions. Super friendly, and he really cares about his students. His final, although it was hard, was a complete reflection of his previous exams and assignments.

Amazing professor. Teaches from his slides a bit too much. But the exams aren't bad if you watch the lecture videos he provides. He's incredibly helpful and engaging, friendly and genuinely concerned about the class' success. Best professor in ECE.

There is no textbook for this course. He knows what he's talking about but for some reason his voice just puts me to sleep every class. You never know what to expect for the design questions on the exams and they can be challenging. Going through the assignments is a must.

Was a pretty good prof, definitely a good teacher. Very clear, fair, didn't make it easy for you though. Not super helpful outside the classroom, never responded to my email anyways. Also pretty smart, apparently built a Pentium CPU from scratch by himself. Also had SE 141 (aka ECE 223) with him.

I often fell asleep in the class, though that's mainly due to my messed-up sleep cycle. He does like to crack a couple of jokes when the material is dry. Keeps the class semi-awake.

Great prof. I think a special thing about him is the amount of thought he puts into his exams: they are usually long (or seem that way) because there are a lot of questions. He lectures are rarely boring, he tries to keep up with the current state of the technology (although some geeks might disagree here).

Excellent prof. Makes jokes if you know how to listen for them... or come early, he will joke around with the first few students. Makes it nearly impossible to fail, but hard to get perfect on (I know, I only came close!) Do YOU know what SCSI stands for? lol - However.. if you put in little effort, you will fail. You need to get a basic grasp.
