Wonderful to work with! I loved the class I took with Dr. Hagan. Yes, I was interested in the subject (World Religious Perspectives), but I found him fascinating (at least via email -- I am a distance student). If I had the chance, I would love to go out for a beer with this professor. I think he has a lot to offer in terms of wisdom and experience

One of my favorite professors from the HUX program. If you have a chance to take him for a class, don't hesitate. He is genuinely nice and very thorough in his comments and help in understanding the material in class.

Dr. Hagan was quite helpful on my final thesis. He was able to balance negative criticism of the thesis with positive comments. He admitted his own bias and background, and how this effects his take on things. He was encouraging, which was helpful for morale. His handwriting is a little hard to decipher at times. He seems a very positive fellow.

Dr. Hagan is knowledgeable, helpful, and supportive. When told by the HUX director that no one on faculty would likely be interested in mentoring me on my chosen thesis topic (polygamy/ religion), he took it.
