Unless you really like Econ, RUN!!! I had no idea what he was talking about in class. By the time I figured out what he was saying, he was 5 things further. Retook his class with anther teacher and got a B+. He just dictates from slides and it is so hard to pay attention. He knows the info but following him is NOT easy!!!

Macro is a difficult class.. with that being said Hall goes over material quickly and is unexcited. Tests are okay if you study a lot and there is extra credit. Don't sit in the front; he's a spitter.

Dr. Hall was a funny guy. His class was the hardest I've taken at UNCW but I am a foreign language major. That being said I've done well in other business classes. His notes are word/ppt docs which are moderately difficult. The tests are tricky and his explanations are the same. He knows the info so well it's not easy to follow.

He gives you extra credit options but it's not easy extra credit.The class average on tests is LOW.He says he will curve our final grades but I'm having to read the textbook for our next exam because his notes are unorganized and make no sense to people who have no econ knowledge.U can miss 4 classes before your final grade drops.Attndance everyday

Bless his heart, he is the sweetest man and he means well. He will offer to help you if you're doing bad but if you don't understand him in class, you won't understand him outside of it either. He gives you the short answer and extra credit answers before the test (exactly) but the tests are tricky. It's a terrible class in general.

i was repeating this course.. i can honestly say that he is an awesome, fun,and extremely helpful teacher. He's always available outside of class to discuss class material. tests directly from notes.

good guy, has interesting comments regarding material. the course curriculum is pretty cut and dry. there isn't much to complicate. tests are straight forward and in line with the notes proved in class. will offer easy extra credit. this was the easiest "A" I've ever earned.

Dr Hall is a really nice guy and i know a lot of people don't necessarily care for him, but if you have to take this class then he is the man to take. Be sure to go to test reviews and write down every question!! I would strongly recommend taking this class after FIN 335...it will make it much easier!!!

I hate econ but if you ever have to have it definitely take Hall. He knows what he's talking about. He gives you the notes, and he tells you not to buy the book. Show up the day of test review. He gives you short answer questions and extra credit as well as some questions on the test. Really nice guy, definitely take him if you can!

Somewhat complicated material. Not the easiest person to follow but he give you the notes, gives you most of the test, and there is no attendance policy. I would recommend him over any other ecn professor for 324
