POOR!Not what the Public Health Field symbolizes. Does not care about helping her students succeed in the field. She doesn't even have proper experience. At best she's Rude and arrogant for no reason! Stay away but if this is your major, she's unavoidable.

Like the others said, if she does not like you, she will make it very difficult for you. She literally told me I should find another major. I received A's and B's In my classes, until I had to take her classes. I ended up dropping out of the program mainly because of her. The woman would not even give me an extension after I had a c- section!!!

Dr Peterson was the best teacher I had while attending ISU. I'm definitely not saying that I got great grades and the class was a breeze; however, I learned the most about public health and even myself in her classes. She expects the best out of you because she believes you can do more. Take her classes and challege yourself.

It is true that Dr. Petterson is demanding and she definatly expects a lot from her students. Her tests are hard and her classes are extensive. However, I am thankful that I have had her becuase I really have learned a lot because of her.It would be in your favor to pay attention and particpate. Take her class if you want a resume booster.

Dr. Peterson is a very hard professor. Her tests are very difficult and you have to fill in the answers. She has very high expectations of the students and can be rude to deal with at times. Her expectations of her students are too high and unreasonable. You have to be on it in her class and put forth lots of effort if you want to pass.

I agree with the other posters. She looks at who you are, not what you do. She grades you on how much she likes you. She is very rude and unorganized. I chose to pursue another major because of her. When she leaves, I will resume my community health education. Hopefully that will be sometime in the near future. DO YOUR BEST TO AVIOD HAVING HER.

Can be very hard to get along with, and has very high expectations of her students. When she grades she looks for very specific things but doesnt tell you what they are. And if she doesnt like you she will make it extreamly difficult to pass her class.
