He's not a great professor, but his class is pretty easy. Just make sure that you pay attention. If you're an information technology management major, then you'll have to take him as a mandatory professor for one class: Database Management. After or before that, I would not at all recommend taking him.

He never looked up. Just reads off the slides and I didn't end up learning anything new. I wouldn't suggest anybody to take his classes.

lectures are sooo boring and hes so bad at explaining. lectures for 30 min then 30 min of an activity which he does for you you just have to follow along. exams are so difficult but the activities help your grade. not awful

He's a terrible teacher but his class is so easy. The midterm and final are tough because you don't lesrn anything from his lectures, but I got a 100 on everything else. You just have to show up to class submit his assignments on time and you'll be fine. He also gives two online quizzes outside of class so having the textbook for that is helpful.

Gao is lecture heavy and speaks so quietly and softly, it's hard to follow along. Exams are based on the powerpoints, you don't need the textbook. I learned a lot of Excel and Access, which most of his assignments rely on. Assignments are due every class, but he does most of them with you at the end of class, and lets you leave early if you're done

He's OK. I didn't come out learning a lot lecture wise, but learned a ton on the computer using Access and Excel and Javascript. I would say it was nice to get more experience with those programs. Super easy assignments he helps u with in class, study for exams via PowerPoint, do homework, show up you'll be good.

this teacher is sooooooooo boring but the class is SO EASY. he is a nerd and needs to speak up. i did not read any of the textbook. you do the homework in class. study the powerpoints and you will be fine for tests. he gives sample questions that are usually on the test.

I didn't learn much in this class about principals of IT but I did discover the wonder of Scrable Beta on Facebook and played that most of the class. You might Yuant to take this class with Gao because it is one of those classes that should go away without much trouble and he makes that possible.

Information Technology- Professor is very laidback and nice. Trys hard to make this class somewhat interesting. Very easy grader on very easy assignments. Lets you out early every class. 3 easy presentations, multiple easy in-class assignments, 3 tests. Tests are multiple choice and true false. No need to read text, easy easy class.

great guy, soft spoken. Do not have to listen at all its a free hour and half time to go on the computer. Just print the slides for class before the test and study. take this class for no grade lower than a C. If you study for 30 for each test, should get a B at least. Very easy

This class is extremely boring,but he's a pretty easy teacher.All we ever do in class is just sit there while he is reading the powerpoints notes.There are about 3 EASY presentations,which you do with a partner,and 3 EASY tests as well.There is some in-class excel/access assignments as well. Just take him,even tho its a boring class. Easy workload.

Don't bother buying book since you never need it. Paying attention in class is optional. Just download all of the slides from the drive. During the class before the test, he gives a study guide. Study according to that and look over slides during class, since you can't understand his English, anyway. Look at slides again before test, and that's it.
