I have once been tutored by her in a class. She had a slight accent, but she was alright. Ms Yuli Chi taught me new things every week. Things that we normally wouldn't do in school, but she was alright. If you are hard working, then you should take classes with her.

My first semester freshman year I had to take this class with her. She is the most GOD AWFUL teacher at ISU that I have come across to date. She talks to the chalk board the whole time and writes very small. SHe can't speak english all that well. She is extremely smart, don't get me wrong, but she doesn't know how to convey properly.

AVOID HER!!! she is the most unhelpful, non-english speaking, rudest teacher I have had here at ISU. If you ask her for help...she says "yes, read book." She gives tests that take longer than the alotted class time and expects you to finish during the class time or she will dock your grade. avoid her or enjoy!

I had her back in the Fall of 2003. I actually rated her while in class! Still today I tell people not to take her. She is impossible. It was a waste of money. If you get her, retake it next semester!

This class shouldn't be hard--but she makes it impossible. I am in the process of testing out. Her assignments take up a lot of time & don't expect her to help you at all. She doesn't speak very good English & her explainations are so disjointed you were better off not even bothering.

Outlandish amounts of time were spent on her projects, which received varying grades depending on how she felt. Forget comprehension, unless u understand chinese. DO NOT TAKE this course with this professor, it can be tested out of by simply taking the literacy test, which I reccomend save yourself time and pain by avoiding this professor!

Impossible to pass this class no matter how much work you put into it. The tests are nothing like the stuff that she covers for hw. The hw is ok, while the tests are so difficult that when I went for help from another prof of the same class he couldn't believe the things she was trying to test us on. If you want to grad take another professor.

She is a horrible teacher. She will not help if you ask her, she tells you no matter what you have done, that you have not put enough effort into things and fails you then wont tell you what you did wrong or help you. I would reccomend never taking this class with her.

This teacher is incredibly difficult. AVOID AT ALL COST!!! She is hard to understand and doesn't spend enough time helping the class learn the subject matter. I will never take another class that she is teaching as long as I am in school.

This class is HORRIBLE!! DO NOT TAKE IT! She cannot speak very clearly and it is extremely hard to understand her. Plus, she teaches a completely different way than anyone in the class has been taught. And you have to do it her way or it is WRONG! Even if you have the right answer! TAKING THIS CLASS WOULD BE THE MOST RIDICULOUS DECISION! I wasnt aware, and wish I hadnt taken it. Do not plan on passing with her as a prof! She cannot be fired either because her husbad is head of the department! HORRIBLE

Yuli Chi is the devil in carnate, in high school i was a A student. After taking this class i got my first D. She teaches at a elementary level in class then tests u on the college level. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!

Yuli Chi is a very nice women however she grades really hard and is often hard to understand. She has a very strict attendance policy. If you are not one to go to class much do not take her for a teacher. She WILL fail you! The material wasn't all that hard but there was A LOT to do.
