Super sweet and funny, cares about his students. Gives online homework for every class through the text book but as long as you do it he counts it as 100%, His tests are always easier than expected and he is so so entertaining.

Prof Joseph is great! I got an A in both FRE101 & FRE102. Made learning French super easy. Hes hilarious and dedicated to your education. He does have a tendancy to get off-track, and sometimes speaks too quickly but not enough to prevent you from learning anything. As long as you take good notes, and do the homework & review sheets, youll be ok!

Very funny guy, but gets off track a lot. You need to study in order to pass, cant slack in this class at all. Teaches kinda fast and has a very cocky attitude. Not a hard class if you pay attention and study. Lots of homework!! Only a few tests, and theyre hard. Final is much easier than any of his work he gives himself.

This professor is dedicated to his students. He is always available for additional support during his office hours. His lectures are thoughtful, and carefully consider the students grades. He is down to earth. This class was a reprieve from the stresses of everyday academic pressures. Professor Joseph makes learning a language fun. Class act.

Although he gave way to much homework and in class notes, I actually enjoyed his was of teaching. He taught with much laughter and high spirits. His teaching was amazing and thorough. He laughs a lot and wants everyone to have fun while learning. He makes sure that everyone understands before he moves forward. Great Professor!

I dreaded each day when he came in because he was just too overbearing, but i feel bad because he seems to geuinely enjoy teaching and trying to get people to laugh. If you are shy dont take this class, if you raise your hand he shreiks (not in a mean way) still its too much. His homework and tests were fair and I did well but he was too much

This professor, man. He is the most energetic and hilarious professor I have ever come across. His class is easy as long as you listen and show up. Professor Joseph will answer all questions. He will tell you what is on his test and give a review sheet. He is a fair grader. He gives homework but it is not beyond reasonable means.

If you like an upbeat professor, this is him. He makes things stick to your brain because of how enthusiastic he is about his job. He loves what he does which makes you love what you're learning. If you want to team up with someone for the textbook though it'd be a good idea... I highly recommend him though :) love his iconic laugh and his humor!!

Terrible, moves too fast assuming everyone speaks the language. His teaching is very scattered not clear what we should be learning. Doesnt give any direction. He tries too hard to be a comedian and doesnt seem to have a structured way of teaching. Tests are harder than they should be due to his lack of direction. I regret not dropping this class

I enjoyed Professor Joseph's class. He keeps you laughing the entire time. I found the work to be really challenging. He gives very little homework but the tests are very challenging and you need to devote a good amount of time to studying for them to pass.

Wonderful professor. Easy tests because I put in a lot of effort studying. There is a good reason why he doesn't give extra credit. It is because it is very important to learn Spanish no matter what career you pursue. Please put in the time and effort to study because there is no extra credit.
