He is the worst, we had a writing assignment due every week, if youre confused you cant ask him because he will get upset. You really need to know how to write an essay because he will not help with any feedback.

I had him for Saturday classes and he would give everyone random assignments without being clear on what is expected from them. He has a thick accent making it hard to understand him also his rambling. He goes off topic a lot. If you ask him a question on your essay he starts shaming you on your work. Overall don't take him.

The point is that he has a very bad attitude and he forgets things! He gives instructions for an assignment and next class he would swear he didt say that. The class is pretty easy but he makes it so hard!!!! DONT TAKE ANY CLASS WITH HIM

Probably the worst prof ever! He assigns a lot of papers but is unclear of what is expected of you. He makes you feel bad if you ask for any clarifications. He wastes so much class time just rambling. He is smart but just an AWFUL professor. Dont take class if you are taking a full load that sem!

lectures consist of: politics, his daughters, WAASC. Syllabus says 3 essays & 1 research paper, we did 6 essays & 2 research papers. talks down on college students, Unclear on assignments, misplaces your homework/wont return,will give a C or no score if you make one simple mistake. as Eng114, he had us doing entirely 115/16 assignments instead.

I'd recommend not to take this class. He does not care about any situations you have at all. He does not respond to emails. If you're going to take this class, you need a printer because every homework is printed. You only use the book twice. He is very unclear on what he wants you to do. No extra credit work. Condescending, bad professor overall.

Even though I passed the class with an A, I do not recommend this class. I understand that summer classes are fast pace but, Professor Ashkiani will assign essays after essays. He talks a lot and does not specify himself of what he wants in the essays. Don't ask him for help because he will just ask you to ask a classmate.

This teacher is really tuff. He has you running back and forth from each assignment. He is not clear about what he wants us to do so we have to ask our class mates because he will not repeat him self and if he does he gets supper mad. He also makes us do unnecessary assignments that are not related to any thing we are doing class. DO NOT TAKE CLASS

If you are looking for a good professor, he is definitely not. His class and his assignments are not clear, he says one think and does another, he makes you buy a book and only uses it one or two times. He is a very intelligent and smart, bur unfortunately he uses it against his students. Do not take his class if appreciate your future.

I really liked this teacher. If you show up to class everyday, pay attention, and do your work then there shouldn't be a problem. He teaches with a lot of detail and examples. Many essays to help you with writing (practice makes easy). I loved this class and would take him again.

Worst professor I have ever had. This man is unclear, disorganized and boring. I have never had any issues with my classes or other professors before, yet this man managed to make a 114 class so tedious and annoying. This is the worst teacher I have ever had. He makes bad faces at his students. When you ask a question he makes you feel as if your asking for a favor. He talks bad about junior colleges and if he does not like your writing he won't even give you a grade for the assignment. He gives two finals. Do not take his class if your not a great writer.
