I absolutely love Prof Cutler. If you do take her class though, be ready to work for your grade. Attendance isn't mandatory but your grade will be MUCH higher than someone who skips if you go to all of the scheduled class sessions. She is very caring and I recommend having her as a professor. Highly recommend skimming lessons in book before class.

Dr. Cutler is one of the most caring people you will ever meet. The content of her class is hard, and sometimes I needed to look up YouTube videos to find another way of explaining a topic. She is a good teacher who will slow down if you ask her to. However, she does not baby you. In order to get an A in her class you need to be self-motivated.

Dr. Cutler means well, but if you get offended easily then beware. She is the type of professor where if you're good in her class, she'll be very nice to you and you'll have no issues. If you aren't so good in your class, she's really rude to you and makes you feel like you're the worst person in the world.

Loveee Cutler! She is such a fun and personable person. I have always hated chem, but with her I began to feel like I actually understood what the classes were on. You definitely have to read all the chapters and do allll the homework but if you try hard she will definitely help you. It is a lot of on your own work though but still do-able.

Dr. Cutler was not ment to teach! She only likes you if you understand and do well in her class otherwise she basically makes the whole class know your dumb. if you ask for help she brushes you off and does not answer your questions. she also rarely does example problems and when she does she does not finish them. Do not take this professor!!!!!!!!

Dr. Cutler cares about her students like her kids. Chem II is a very hard course no matter who teaches it, but Dr. Cutler teaches all she can to help students understand and apply concepts. Class is hard, and requires lots of out of class work, but can be done. Work hard and pay attention, and Dr. Cutler will help you

Professor literally lost one of my quizzes and gave me a zero, when I never missed one class and took the quiz. Incredibly disrespectful to students. She tells us to ask her questions and email her then she does not respond to emails. Would never recommend this professor. Many people dropped the course halfway through the semester due to her.

I struggled through chemistry during high school. Dr. Cutler is helpful and accessible inside and outside of class. She comes up with ways to help students remember difficult units and genuinely wants students to do well. It's obvious she has a passion for Chem. Though she is awfully bubbly for an 8am. ;)

The problems that were talked about in class were not nearly as difficult as the problems on the test. She would always say in class that she was "trying to invoke a higher level of thinking." While I appreciate this, I wish that the examples in class were the same difficulty as the test. We also rushed at the end of the year which was not fun.

I loved going to class with Dr. Cutler even though I hated chemistry. I was honestly sad when it was over because I wouldn't have her as a professor anymore. She was amazing and I tell everyone to take chem from her.

Dr. Cutler is very easy going, fun professor who lectures well. She assign a good amount of homework, but the deadlines are usually aren't due until the night before you're tested over the material which is helpful for reviewing. She's also really good about making herself available to answer any questions you have outside of class.

If you did not take AP chem in high school, do not take Dr. Cutler. Even though it is an intro class, its not treated that way. She gives minimum partial credit. But if you're good at chem, take her. she's funny. one good thing is she grades exams the day you take them.

If you understand Chemistry, you'll be successful with Dr. Cutler. However, if you don't have much of a foundation in chemistry prior to taking this course, I suggest finding a different professor. Dr. Cutler expects everyone to be expert chemists, and does not explain things in a way that is easy for everyone to understand. Not very supportive.

She makes you work for your grade and wont just babysit your money for the semester. So glad I took Dr. C because she taught me chemistry, not how to brown nose for a good grade. It will pay off in the future and I urge anyone who can to take her as a professor. I got my "fries" with my meal is what she would say! Great at helping, tutored if need.
