Bill's course is the one I learnt the most from, but it was also the hardest. He has a lot of homework. Reaction papers to readings you do every week, and there were two long research papers as well. And to add to that there's also the tests, which you have to prepare for going through every single thing covered in lectures.

Bill is a great guy, but lectures can be long and sometimes dull. He has a lot of information to share and is great to talk to, has great personal experience. Tests are long and you'll be writing as fast as you can the whole time which sucks, and he assigns LONG papers. But you'll learn a lot.

Perhaps the best one of them all, Moseley loves his subject and conveys that every day. He is an inspiration, and is not afraid to go outside the lines and teach us philosophies and point of views that are not currently accepted in the world of academia.

Moseley is a very nice, very approachable guy. He's passionate about his subject which is incredibly important. His tests are very tough and I stressed out about them a lot, but I learned a lot and ended up really enjoying the class. Highly recommended.

Comment:
had him for both people/env and human geog. avoid this--the classes are nearly identical! too much reading. in discussion, he marks down each time you speak. lectures were quite dry. too many papers, tests, and projects--felt like i constantly had something coming up in his class. however, people/env had a really cool end-of-term project.

Bill is a very nice guy. This class includes four 1000 word papers and a 10-15 page research paper, not to mention a good deal of reading (4-9 articles a week + very boring textbook). He is incredibly helpful and ready to give you a little extra assistance when needed.

Bill loves his subject, and in turn made me want to love it (not that it was a stretch for me). People and the environment made me think and though it wasn't my ideal structure, it was one of the best classes I've taken.
