Took three and a half years of Spanish and remembered barely any and never really understood it. The way Carol teaches made me really understand it. I love the way she teaches, but you have to come to class because if you miss one, most likely you will be lost. Come to class, pay attention, participate and you will be good to go!

I don't know why everyone is slamming Profesora O'Donnell. I have LOVED every minute of her class. She teaches for a variety of styles, and is always helpful when students ask questions.

She's a good teacher..she told us her mom died the day before the semester started last year so that would explain the bad ratings...she's very good, nice, punctual. the tests are easy as long as you study. you dont get put on the spot a lot...get to move around the room and converse with people at your own pace in spanish, very easy : )

It's true, she is a little unorganized. But, even though i didnt do well in her class, she is a good teacher. She is a native and is very good at speaking both english and spanish.She understands your frustration of learning a new language and gives stories for comfort of when she was learning english. She is always late to class. I reccomend her

I had this professor for spanish 182 and the class was very interesting. I learned a lot more spanish from taking this class. The professor lacked in the helping section however, she made the class interesting and fun. She also went back to review somethings if the majority of the class forgot certain aspects of the spanish language.

She is a very nice person, by far, NOT a good teacher.She is always late for class, leaves early, and never prepared.It's hard to explain, but being a language class, you would expect a lot more interactivity.Her first language is Spanish and with her accent,it's hard to understand her.

I have progressed in my spanish studies. Carol has a wonderful personality as a person but lacks necessary aspects of a good prof. Very friendly but the book is disorganized, full of errors, and does not teaches the most relevant aspects of spanish!

This is the only class I have ever dropped and I am an A-B student. She rushed through lectures and ignored me when I raised my hand for clarification. Lots of homework, tests are difficult. Not recommended if you work or have any other classes.
