Great class. Dont worry about the anxiety of public speaking. It will get easier as you progress. During the semester I became seriously ill requiring a month long hospitalization. She was more than understanding and more than willing to work with me in making sure I passed the course.

Literally the best! She's so sweet. She gives great feedback and will let you know what you can improve on, but she isn't intimidating at all. Public speaking isn't really my thing, but this class was definitely helpful. The speeches are topics of your choice which is nice and the tests are straight out of the book. Definitely recommend Granata!

Awesome instructor! She is so gentle and nice. Only 3 assigned speeches which are the easiest and one impromptu that you speak for a minute about. You can use your phone to time yourself and she doesnt mind at all. I sometimes went over and she still gave me an A. 3 test. Super easy. Just read up on the book. Final is optional.

Mrs. Granata has a cheerful, positive attitude. 3 assigned speeches & 1 impromptu.(very easy) As long as you show up & give speeches, even if your delivery is not very good, you will pass the class. 3 tests from book. didn't use book much in class but you need to read chapters for test. Final is optional if satisfied with grade after last speech

Professor Granata was pretty rad. I took her comm class for a half semester. Was easy as heck too! I usually suck at communication classes, especially if they require you to type out your entire speech. (Failed my first attempt with another professor.) I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Professor Granata to anyone who isn't too fond of speaking in front of groups.

Mrs. G is a welcoming instructor. We had 4 speeches & 4 tests. Test #4 not mandatory. Tests: multi-choice based on textbook. Easy if you actually read it. U can find it 4 free online. Offers extra-credit. Had to vocally critique 1 another. 4 speeches add up to less than 21 total minutes speaking to the class. 98% of other time were spent listening.

Hilarious and easy teacher. Easy A if you just present your speech, so many people presented their speeches unprepared and they still passed! She helped me a lot facing my fear speaking in front of people. I recommend her!! First speech is group, next 3 are by yourself on the topic you choose! BEST TEACHER

Easy A class. 3 exams and 1 final(optional). Speeches are easy and worth more then the test. Just don't go over speaking time. Hilarious teacher. Textbook was used maybe 3 times for the exams. Take the 8am class! Class Cancelled a good amount and ended early compared to other classes.

Easy A if you just give a little effort. Only have to give 4 speeches the entire semester and take at least 3 tests, the 4 test is optional. Super easy grader, will most likely give you an A on your speech for just getting up and giving it.

Ms. Granata is a really nice teacher. Her class is EASY. Tests are easy, but you need the book to study. A lot of opportunities for extra credit. The speeches are fun, and you get to meet new people. Since I did really good with the exams, I didn't have to take the final. I got an easy A in the class. HIGHLY RECOMMEND HER!

I took her class in a 9 week course. Because it was half a semester, I was always either writing a speech or studying for a test. She didn't really lecture so you HAVE to read the book. But it's SUPER EASY material. Read it and understand it and you will pass. I had fun in her class :)

Short-term (9 weeks) class. She's really funny and always keeps class interesting. Never a dull moment. Some students said that they ACTUALLY enjoyed her class and that they wished that she taught other classes. She's really sweet and her lectures are always great to hear. 4 easy speeches, just go up there and talk (4-6min) and you'll get an A!
