Comment:
Class is challenging because it is dense, involves a lot of theory and is therefore hard to see relationships in new concepts. I found myself learning the course on my own and got help during recitation/office hours. I recommend getting extra help with TA's. As far as exams, they are much easier than HW questions and have a nice curve.

Worst Professor, has severe dyslexia and can not teach. He is always wrong in lecture and redoes the same problem over and over again. Although he is smart, he makes errors over and over again to the point where you have to learn yourself

The class overall is really interesting and as other people have stated before, its dense and jam-packed material. But take a step back after this course and realize that the man went through Analysis, Linear, Calc I II III and applied economics all in the same semester. The class also teaches you a way of thinking through economics with math

Professor Wilson is one of the best professors I have ever had in NYU. He understands how much students can learn from the very dense course material and makes everything as clear and detailed as possible. He tries to prepare and to help out his students as much as possible. Definitely recommend this professor since I have learned tremendously.

lots of material but the class is pretty straight forward. wilsons fun just because hes so odd and awkward. he expects you to read the notes but reviews a lot if you ask him to. the grading is fair plus he gives you opportunities to get extra credit.

The class is very hard, and he does make it pleasent at all. I think he has like a superiority complex where he makes it harder so he's the only one who understands it. Very weird, but you have to get through the course if you want to take theory.

I never thought I'd see math applied to anything besides physics, but Professor Wilson proved me wrong! Math for Economists is a tough course, but Professor Wilson does a pretty good job of making us understand mathematical theorems and their applications to economics.

I thought I knew Calculus and Linear Algebra until I took Wilson's class and he made everything very hard and confusing. Luckily, he gives a huge curve.
